Terms and Conditions for Participation in In-House Gymnastics Competition

By registering their child in the in-house gymnastics competition, parents/guardians agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility
1.1. Participation is open to children who are currently enrolled in our gymnastics program.
1.2. The child must meet the age requirements specified for their category.

2. Registration
2.1. Parents/guardians must complete the official registration form by the deadline specified.
2.2. A £25 participation fee must be paid in full at the time of registration.

3. Medical and Health Requirements
3.1. Parents/guardians confirm that their child is in good physical and mental health to participate in the competition.
3.2. Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed during registration.
3.3. Parents/guardians acknowledge and accept the risks involved in gymnastics and agree not to hold the organizers liable for injuries that may occur during the competition, except in cases of proven negligence.

4. Code of Conduct
4.1. Parents/guardians and participants must demonstrate sportsmanship and respect towards judges, coaches, staff, and other participants.
4.2. Disruptive behavior, verbal abuse, or any form of misconduct by parents or participants may result in disqualification or removal from the event.
4.3 All spectators must pay ALL pay the £5 spectators fee on arrival

5. Liability Waiver
5.1. By registering, parents/guardians release the organizers, coaches, and facility staff from any liability for injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during the competition, except in cases of proven negligence.
5.2. Parents/guardians understand and accept that gymnastics involves inherent risks, and appropriate safety measures will be taken during the event.

6. Media and Photography
6.1. Parents/guardians consent to the use of photographs or videos of their child taken during the competition for promotional purposes (e.g., social media, website, brochures).
6.2. If parents/guardians do not wish for their child’s image to be used, they must notify the organizers in writing before the event.

7. Judging and Scoring
7.1. All decisions made by the competition judges are final and binding.
7.2. Parents/guardians agree not to contest or interfere with the judging process.

8. Cancellations and Refunds
8.1. Registration fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the organizers.
8.2. If a participant withdraws from the competition after registration, no refunds will be provided.

9. Event Changes
9.1. The organizers reserve the right to modify the competition schedule, categories, or rules as necessary.
9.2. Participants and parents/guardians will be notified of any significant changes in advance.

10. Acknowledgment of Terms
By registering for the competition, parents/guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
